Shannon Armstrong

Law Enforcement Officer & Community Leader

BKA Foundation President

Shannon Armstrong has dedicated over 18 years to law enforcement in the Kansas City Metropolitan area, advocating for victims and building safer communities. As President of the Byron K. Armstrong Achievement Foundation, he leads efforts to foster collaboration and drive community impact. With degrees in Criminal Justice and Communications, Shannon excels in effective communication and leadership. He believes in investing in youth, ensuring future leaders have strong role models to follow.

Shawn Oglesby 

Community Leader

BKA Foundation Vice President

Shawn Oglesby has over 30 years of experience with the Federal Government; he currently serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (Team Lead) with the Federal Aviation Administration.  When not working, Shawn serves the community in several organizations, he is a life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner. He is a Life Member of the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff Alumni Association and sits on the board of the Bell Tower Scholarship Foundation.  Shawn believes in mentoring the youth so they can see positive role models.

Dwayne Moore

Senior IT Program Manager

Dwayne Moore is a Senior IT Program Manager, currently overseeing the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s voice digital transformation initiative. With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, he has excelled as a solutions architect and network program manager. Dwayne holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University and is deeply committed to giving back to the community. As Vice President of A Pearls Touch Incorporated, a nonprofit organization, he helps individuals manage their Social Security benefits. His passion for mentoring and developing future leaders reflects his dedication to empowering the next generation through education and guidance.

Aaron Reeves

BKA Foundation Treasurer

Aaron Reeves brings extensive financial expertise to his role as Treasurer of the BKA Foundation. With a background in accounting and nonprofit financial management, he ensures the foundation’s fiscal health, maintaining transparency and compliance in all financial matters. Aaron also collaborates closely with the board to develop sustainable financial strategies. His commitment to sound fiscal stewardship helps the foundation maximize its impact on the communities it serves.

Daniel Brown

As Director of the BKA Foundation, Daniel Brown leads the organization’s strategic initiatives, focusing on community outreach and program development. His leadership drives the foundation’s mission to create impactful and sustainable change through philanthropic efforts. Daniel’s vision and commitment to social equity inspire innovative programs that address critical community needs. He works closely with stakeholders to ensure the foundation’s goals are met effectively.

Chris Stevenson

Business Development Leader & Community Advocate

With over 35 years in the technology industry, Chris has led sales and marketing initiatives for companies like Epicor Software and Blackbaud. As Director of Business Development at SylogistMission, he drives innovative solutions for nonprofits worldwide. A dedicated community servant, Chris serves on the board of the Oklahoma City Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi and as Finance Chair at Prospect Church. His awards include the Humanitarian Leader Award and Kappa Alpha Psi’s 2022 Outstanding Achievement Award, a testament to his commitment to business and service.

Theron Morgan 

Director of Corporate Partnerships & Sports Executive

Theron Morgan brings over 25 years of sales and marketing expertise to his role as Director of Corporate Partnerships at St. Louis CITY SC, where he fosters sustainable business relationships. His career includes leadership roles with Anheuser-Busch, the St. Louis Cardinals, and Mutual of Omaha, all marked by his ability to deliver winning partnerships. Theron holds advanced degrees in business and is recognized for his contributions to the community and the sports industry. Passionate about service, he remains committed to making a positive impact wherever he goes.

Darren Fields

Entrepreneur & Business Leader

Darren Fields is an accomplished and seasoned  entrepreneur with over three decades of experience in contract acquisition and leading strategic planning for project proposals and business expansion initiatives.  Darren is a proven leader who excels in building relationships with clients and key stakeholders across corporate, federal, and state entities. His expertise in proposal development, technical writing, and negotiation has enabled him to lead teams that successfully secure contracts with high-profile organizations, including various U.S. government agencies.

KyLee Duley

Senior, University of Denver – Finance Major

BKA Foundation Director

KyLee Duley is currently completing his senior year at the University of Denver, where he is pursuing a degree in Finance. As the Polemarch for the Omicron Zeta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., KyLee demonstrates leadership and community engagement.  KyLee is certified as a Microsoft Office Specialist and has consistently earned a place on the Dean’s List throughout his college career. His personal interests include playing basketball, producing beats, golfing, and exploring various hot sauces. KyLee is passionate about giving back to his community and aspires to make a meaningful impact on both his family and society.
